Thank you for your interest and support of PS 452. We are committed to building a strong school culture where families are truly engaged in the process of educating children in dynamic and exciting ways. We, the staff of PS 452, strive each day to prepare children intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally to succeed at school and in life.
We know that children flourish when they are given the chance to acknowledge their sense of wonder, explore natural curiosities, and engage compassionately with the world around them. So, we design and present integrated units in Social Studies and Science that lead them to deeper understandings in literacy, math, and critical thinking through project-based learning. The accomplishment of these endeavors requires a tremendous amount of support.
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of PS 452 is a supportive partner, teaming with school staff to create a wonderful learning environment. The PTA has made it their mission to provide that support as they work to help us create and maintain high quality classroom materials, teacher professional development, field trips, technology, and enrichment programs such as National Dance Institute, Rising New York Road Runners, and Salvadori.
